Pancakes for Parkinson's Event Information

Approximately 1 and a half million Americans live with Parkinson's disease (PD), and an average of 60,000 new cases are diagnosed each year. At the University of Georgia, the Undergraduate Neuroscience Organization (UNO) has made it their mission to increase PD awareness in the Athens community.

UNO is partnering with businesses in the community to raise money for Parkinson's awareness and research. Most of the proceeds (75%) of Pancakes for Parkinson's will go directly to the Wilkins Parkinsons Foundation, which promotes Parkinson’s awareness, and 25% will be donated, in the name of the Wilkins Parkinson's Foundation, to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which leads in privately funding research for a cure.

So join us for all-you-can-eat pancakes, music, and live entertainment to start G day off right!
